Hello, my name is Christine Weber and welcome to my website.  I hope you enjoy your visit, finding out about my cats and the Selkirk Rex breed.

My family have always owned cats since I was primary school age, all rescued moggies and it wasn't until 2004 that I bought my first pedigree cat - a British Shorthair black tipped female.    After that another BSH followed, a re-homed male bought through an on-line classified ad, then my first Selkirk Rex, Hope, came to me as a 2 year old adult in 2007.   Hope had never been shown previously by her breeder but she has excelled on the show bench and has won her Imperial Grand Champion title, still the only adult female in the breed with this title.

In between the moggies & the pedigree cats, I have been showing & breeding Large Munsterlanders under the J
ägerreh affix.    To date, I have bred 3 Show Champion bitches (Sh.Ch. Jägerreh Moonshine, Sh.Ch. Jägerreh Hermia JW & Sh.Ch. Jägerreh Coranto of Chontelle ShCM) and 3 reserve CC winners.

Jägerreh Constance has excelled as a working dog gaining her Natural Aptitude Certificate, 1st LMC Working test Novice class winner out of 34 runners & two 4th's at other working tests, she now works on several shoots over the Winter months.

My current dogs are Jägerreh Curtis and Dronley Black Orchid at Jägerreh 'Melody', a Flat Coated Retriever bitch puppy who I hope to show in due course.

2 more Selkirks have followed since Hope's arrival, Cobweb and Larissa, who was imported from Holland.   The Selkirk is a attractive outgoing breed of cat, slightly more mischievous than the British Shorthair with a lovely plushy, scrunchy soft coat.     Please feel free to contact me with any questions relating to the cats (And dogs!).   Thank you.
