British Shorthairs
Before I became aware of the Selkirks, I already had 2 BSH black tipped cats. Both Zelli and Jack are lovely examples of the breed and bred from some of the most recognised and well established lines within the breed. Both possess totally silver pedigrees (39/10) which gives them that true black tipped look and silvery white undercoat.
Bedazzle Zelda 'Zelli'
Sire: Grand Ch. Pennydown Expectations
Dam: Bedazzle Whitney
Zelli has been infrequently shown. At her one & only outing as a kitten she was BOB and had an all red card day. She currently has 1 CC. She has the most fabulous eye colour which her sire seems to throw & very light tipping with no ghost tabby markings.
Zelli has the most wonderfully gentle nature, a very loving quiet girl.
Barratini Cashmere 'Jack'
Sire: Grand Ch. Pennydown Top Gunn
Dam: Ch. Tandridge Purl
Jack came to me as a one year old having already been through another 2 homes after leaving his breeder! He hasn't been shown as, typical of the breed, he's been slow to mature. He is a substantial cat, stocky, well boned, huge feet (!) and a good broad head. Like Zelli, Jack has a very light & evenly tipped coat with no ghost tabby markings. He is litter brother to Grand Ch. Barratini Pearl N Lace .
Jack is at stud to well behaved BSH black tipped queens. Limited use with golden tipped queens.
